In this special episode, debate coaches William and Andrew from the UK-based Online Debate Club, an associate club of 104 London Debaters, introduce a debate they recorded live on the motion This House Would Scrap the Net Zero Carbon Target. After the debate they talk about how to prepare for a debate and share some great tips that will help you when you need to prepare a strong argument.
Membership of The Online Debaters Club Club
Membership is open to anyone across the globe who is committed to the free, open, tolerant and respectful exchange of opinions. The club offers a forum to learn debating, to engage with current and philosophical issues, and to connect with people across ideological as well as geographical divides. We expect members to operate in good faith.
Membership is £30 for six months.
That gives you access to the meetings, the opportunity to take part in the main debates, coaching, and free access to workshops and social events, if you are able to attend.
Membership is subject to an access interview.
